What is Ganoderma Lucidum Extract?
Ganoderma lucidum,also called reishi, has been used as a medicinal mushroom in Chinese traditional medicine for over 2,000 years.Ganoderma lucidum produces a group of triterpenes, and Include polysaccharides,coumarin, mannitol and alkaloids.
The use of reishi has been explored as a complementary adjunct treatment in patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. A recent trials showed that patients responded more positively when given reishi alongside their chemotherapy regimen. And the studies also showed that patients had improved immune functions which was measured by their elevated levels of immune response cells.
